To be the leading professional resource for advancement services practitioners & those wishing to learn about the field by:-establishing, promoting & advocating professional standards & practices.-helping not-for-profit organizations understand the roll of advancement services.-promoting educational resources & opportunities for advancement services practitioners.-supporting professional growth & advancement for practitioners.-facilitating relationships & interaction among practitioners.
AASP is a network of current & aspiring leaders in advancement services who inform the strategy & direct the operations that fuel & fund nonprofit organizations. AASP connect is an online community on AASPs website where members & non-members can engage in conversations, search archives & other documents. AASP publishes a quarterly newsletter to members. AASP hosted 4 Regional Symposiums with 30-70 attendees. The Regional Symposiums offer education, networking & round-table discussions in an intimate setting. AASP also hosts an Annual Summit of over 500 advancement service professionals who come to discuss evolving practices in the field, gather fresh perspectives, share knowledge & forge connections.
