Minnesota Warmline - a statewide safe, anonymous and confidential phone/text line that provides people who are working on their mental health recovery with an opportunity to connect with others, find support, reduce social isolation, and talk about their concerns. The Warmline uses a peer-to-peer approach, and is answered by a professionally trained staff of Certified Peer Specialists who have first-hand, personal experience living with a mental health condition. The Warmline takes more than 10,000 calls/texts per year, and is a tool that helps many people before they reach a point of crisis.
Public Policy/Advocacy - takes place at the legislative and governmental levels in order to influence public policy and funding of mental health care in Minnesota; on the County level through "grassroots" activities; in the private sector with managed health plans; and nationally through the organization's relationship and affiliation with Mental Health America.
Mental Health Helpline - connects people statewide with mental health treatment, services and support via phone, on-line chat and email. The Helpline provides information and referrals, helps people determine next steps toward treatment, directly connects people to services, and provides tools and resources that support mental health recovery and wellness.
