In our belief and purpose, MACMHP: Advocates for our members and their clients with the legislature, stakeholders, and the public; drives innovation to create a more equitable and sustainable mental and chemical health system through service delivery and payment reform; and collaborates and connects to elevate high quality, whole-person care and to develop innovative care models.
Belief, Purpose & Pursuits: As MACMHP, we believe access to high-quality mental and chemical health services is vital to realizing whole health and well-being for all Minnesotans. Our purpose is to lead the transformation of the healthcare system so everyone has access to high-quality, community-based services.
Public Policy - MACMHP was involved in the analysis and drafting of policy issues, and legislation in the state and federal levels. MACMHP also worked on program implementation with the state departments and providers.
Technical Assistance/ Education - MACMHP provided four formal trainings and held a formal meeting. we trained 513 clinicians and 73 individuals attended the formal meeting.
Innovation - MACMHP worked to coordinate and formalize our providers' network through building a unified data analysis infrastructure and service delivery.
