THE DEPARTMENT COORDINATES ADVERTISING, PROMOTIONS, PUBLICATIONS, WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA, AND PUBLIC AND MEDIA RELATIONS PROGRAMS FOR ALL DEPARTMENTS. MARKETING ACCOMPLISHED THE FOLLOWING IN 2020:WORKED WITH WEST 7TH BUSINESS OWNERS TO BRING ON AN EVENT PLANNER FOR LUCKYPALOOZA AND PLANNED THE NCHC FAN FEST. BOTH EVENTS WERE CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19.MAINTAINED VISIT SAINT PAUL'S WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA AND INSIDER'S BLOG AND TO COMMUNICATE UPDATES AND CHANGES AROUND THE IMPACTS OF COVID-19 ON VISITATION TO SAINT PAUL AND LOCAL BUSINESSES, INCLUDING "SAINT PAUL FROM HOME" CONTENT. SUPPORTED LOCAL BUSINESS THROUGH CURBSIDE/DELIVERY RESTAURANT AND RETAIL LISTS AS WELL AS "LOVE SAINT PAUL PROMOTION".DEVELOPED THE VISITOR GUIDE PUBLICATION - PRINTING WAS POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19. CONTINUED DISTRIBUTION OF CURRENT ISSUE OF THE GUIDE.COMPLETED A 2 MONTH DIGITAL CAMPAIGN, RIGHT NOW, IT'S ALL YOURS, RESULTING IN 3.2 MILLION IMPRESSIONS, 289,961 CLICKS/ENGAGEMENTS/VIDEO VIEWS AND 9,559 LANDING PAGE SESSIONS.PARTNERED WITH RAMSEY COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH, CITY OF SAINT PAUL, SAINT PAUL CHAMBER, MIDWAY CHAMBER AND ST. PAUL DOWNTOWN ALLIANCE TO DELIVER THE READY TOGETHER PLEDGE PROMOTING SAINT PAUL'S COMMITMENT TO CLEANLINESS AND SAFETY. OVER 150 BUSINESSES COMMITTED TO THE PLEDGE.
