Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of the organization is to provide community service in the Starbuck, Glenwood and greater Pope County, MN. area. This is done by participating in community events by providing people and funding. The organization also seeks to develope leadership skills by the membership which can be used fo the betterment of the individuals and their communities.
CO-SPONSORED A KIDDIE PARADE DURING STARBUCK HERITAGE DAYS. APPROXIMATELY 100 CHILDREN AND HUNDREDS OF SPECTATORS PARTICIPATED. CO-SPONSORED GLENWOOD WINTERAMA. SEVERAL HUNDRED PEOPLE PARTICIPATE. CITY FIREWORKS, CHRISTMAS CARE, POST PROM, MEDICAL FUNDRAISER. THE CITY FIREWORKS DURING HERITAGE DAYS IS VIEWED BY APPROXIMATELY 5000 PEOPLE ANNUALLY. THE CHRISTMAS CARE PROGRAM PROVIDES GIFTS AND FOOD FOR FAMILIES IN NEED DURING THE HOLIDAYS. DOZENS OF LOW INCOME AND NEEDY FAMILIES ARE SERVED. AN EASTER EGG HUNT IS SPONSORED IN OUR COMMUNITY IN WHICH MANY CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES PARTICIPATE.
