Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Organization is a Christian-Based life affirming organization providing education, mentoring, support and referrals to anyone facing an unplanned or crisis pregnancy. We educate, encourage and empower moms, dads and families to reach their potential.
Stepping Stones Pregnancy and Parenting Program: Clients receive caring and non-judgmental one on one mentoring. Clients gain practical tools, resources, baby supplies, education, encouragement, Fatherhood support and life groups. We offer Life Groups in a variety of topics including: relationships, pregnancy, parenting and life skills for setting goals and reaching the next level. In 2019, we had 119 new clients, over 1,398 client appointments and 493 class attendees.
Client Services: We educate, encourage and empower anyone facing an unplanned or crisis pregnancy. We offer pregnancy options consultations to listen, help, inform and educate on all options, while focusing on positive alternatives to abortion. We also offer pregnancy tests, prenatal vitamins, education, referrals and resources for adoption, health care, housing, child care, parental rights, pregnancy and parenting needs, fetal development, abortion procedures and risks through material provided by the MN Department of Health. All services and supplies are free to clients, thanks to generous supporters and grants. We work together with local agencies and organizations to serve the need of our community. In 2019, we had 149 client intakes/pregnancy options consultations.
HEART (Health Education and Relationship Training)/ Proactive Youth Outreach: We offer an engaging and relevant presentation for middle schools, high schools, and private venues. We present and discuss on things such as sexual risk avoidance, sexual risk reduction, sexual integrity, healthy relationships, goals, consequences and more. In the 2019 school year we reached 2,053 youth with the message of sexual integrity. This included 13 schools and 7 church youth groups. Overall, before our presentation 25% chose to save sexual activity for marriage. After our presentation 33% chose to save sexual activity for marriage. Also, before our presentation 33% chose to save sexual activity for later in life, after our presentation that number increased to 52%.
