Friends of Africa Education is a non-profit organization providing AIDS orphans, other at risk children and adults access to education in sub-Saharan Africa
To assist in providing education for low and medium income people of sub-Saharan Africa, particularly girls who are HIV / AIDS orphans or at risk youth. Sixty four total students were supported in 2019. Seven students were supported at St Margarets Academy Arusha, Tanzania. Financial support was also provided for twenty eight students in secondary schools. Twenty-nine students were supported in post secondary education to continue their higher education training in sub-Saharan Africa. Funding was provided for tuition and to purchase food for St Margaets school students in need and at risk.
To build new schools or expand capacity at existing schools in the sub-Saharan region of Africa that are accessible to AIDS orphans and other at risk children and adults. 1 St Margarets Academy, Arusha, Tanzania - Provided funding for construction of a new secondary / vocational school. Provide for improvements at existing schools.
