The Corporation is organized for the purpose of creating and operating a conference and performing arts center in Annapolis, Maryland, serving the entire Maryland Capital region. The facility will include a state of the art theatre for the performing arts as well as gallery space for visual arts and Maryland history exhibits. The building will also accomodate large conferences and community events.

In prior years, Stage One, a small outdoor performance stage on the property was used for musical and other performances open to the public. During 2019, the major event was a piano concert at a private home. Revenue from the event includes ticket sales. Sponsorships are included in contribution revenue.
Both The Porch Series and Meet the Artist Exhibitions and receptions began in 2018 and have been well attended by the Maryland community. Combined with the prior year performance oriented programs held on Stage One, these programs begin to demonstrate the broad range of cultural arts activity of the organization that the proposed theatre will house on a larger scale in the future. The Porch Series and Meet the Artists events are free of charge and open to the public.
