BELIEVE IN TOMORROW OWNS AND OPERATES THE CHILDREN'S HOUSE AT JOHNS HOPKINS WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY OF JOHNS HOPKINS HOSPITAL. OPENED IN 1993, THIS HOSPITAL HOUSING FACILITY PROVIDES AN AVERAGE OF 2,000 INDIVIDUAL OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS PER MONTH. THE PURPOSE OF THE HOSPITAL HOUSING PROGRAM IS TO KEEP FAMILIES TOGETHER IN THE MIDST OF MEDICAL CRISIS, TO REDUCE STRESS AND PROMOTE SELF-HELP AND MUTUAL SUPPORT. YOUNG PEOPLE WHO RECEIVE MEDICAL TREATMENT AWAY FROM HOME NEED THE EMOTIONAL SUPPORT OF THEIR FAMILIES.
