AMIA ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM - THE LARGEST MEETING OF THE YEAR AND PROVIDES A FORUM FOR VARIOUS TOPICS ON BIOMEDICAL AND HEALTH INFORMATICS.2. INFORMATICS SUMMIT - THE SUMMIT FOLLOWS THE TRADITION OF OFFERING AN EXCITING, INNOVATIVE AND ENGAGING PROGRAM AROUND FOUR MAIN AREAS: TRANSLATIONAL BIOINFORMATICS, CLINICAL RESEARCH INFORMATICS, IMPLEMENTATION INFORMATICS AND DATA SCIENCE.3. CLINICAL INFORMATICS CONFERENCE - CIC IS WHERE CLINICIANS, DATA SCIENTISTS, HIT DEVELOPERS AND RESEARCHERS GATHER TO LEARN ABOUT IMPLEMENTING TEAM-BASED, INTEGRATED HEALTHCARE DRIVEN BY DATA, EVIDENCE, AND BEST PRACTICE.4. INFORMATICS EDUCATORS FORUM - IEF PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN STATE-OF-THE-ART APPROACHES AND BEST PRACTICES IN EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND TRAINING; AND TO BUILD, SUPPORT, AND STRENGTHEN THE ACADEMIC INFORMATICS COMMUNITY. CIBRC - AMIA'S CLINICAL INFORMATICS BOARD REVIEW COURSE (CIBRC) PROVIDES AMERICAN BOARD OF MEDICAL SPECIALTIES (ABMS) BOARD-CERTIFIED PHYSICIANS WITH THE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO ASSIST THEM IN BECOMING CERTIFIED IN THE SUBSPECIALTY OF CLINICAL INFORMATICS. AHIC - AMIA'S HEALTH INFORMATICS CERTIFICATION IS DEVELOPMENT OF A PATHWAY TO CERTIFICATION FOR INDIVIDUALS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE MEDICAL SUBSPECIALTY CERTIFICATION.CORE CONTENT - CORE CONTENT PROVIDES AN EXPLICIT SET OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR PHYSICIANS TO PRACTICE IN THE MEDICAL SUBSPECIALTY OF CLINICAL INFORMATICS. THE DELINEATION OF PRACTICE (I.E. CORE CONTENT) IS CURRENTLY IN PREPUBLICATION IN JAMIA AS OFFICIAL POSITION PAPER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
