Organizations Filed Purposes:
To advance higher education success for veterans, service members, and military families, and to protect the integrity and promise of the GI Bill and other federal education programs.
Policy: Provide policy analysis, expertise, and information to assist federal and state government in advancing higher education success for veterans, servicemembers, and their families and survivors; improving college quality; and stopping deceptive college recruiting and fraud by predatory colleges.
Free Help for Veterans: Provide free assistance and college and career counseling to approximately 5,000 veterans, servicemembers, and their families and survivors (with approximately 10 new incoming veterans each week) who need help with their GI Bill or problems with their postsecondary institution or who were victims of predatory college recruiting and fraud; help them connect to federal and state government resources. Also assist whistleblowers in connecting with federal and state law enforcement.
Research: Conduct nonpartisan, academic research into issues of prime importance to student veterans, servicemembers and their families, including student outcomes under the GI Bill.
