Organizations Filed Purposes: The Foundation's fundamental objective is to support the development and dissemination of scientific theories and methodologies to protect the global environment and to regenerate the Earth as a healthy, life-sustaining planet. The Foundation supports the identification, development and use of innovative and viable scientific approaches to global environmental problems, ranging from atmospheric pollution to water resource depletion and climate change. The Foundation is committed to ensuring that scientists, scholars, decision-makers and members of the public are aware of scientific solutions as they are being developed, as well as scientific approaches that have already been used successfully even on a limited basis, to combat environmental problems. We work to support further development of promising scientific approaches and dissemination of information about these solutions throughout the world.

To support the development and dissemination of scientific theories and methodologies to protect the global environment and to regenerate the Earth as a healthy, life-sustaining planet.

The Twenty-Fifth International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences (ICUS XXV) and the International Conference on New Paradigm Science, Preparatory Meeting (ICNPS-PM)The conference and preparatory meeting were held in collaboration between our organization HJIFUS/USA, and HJIFUS-Korea to bring together Eastern and Western scholars for more diverse content and well-rounded discussions. For both ICUS XXV and ICNPS, HJIFUS/USA handled honorarium and flight travel arrangements for participants while HJIFUS-Korea handled venue selection, ground transportation, temporary staff, volunteers, hotel and meal accommodations, A/V, and entertainment.HJIFUS/USA handled the layout and design of the ICUS XXV program brochure while HJIFUS-Korea arranged for the brochure printing at a local printing company so they would be readily available at the conference venue. The ICUS XXV Conference was held on Feb 12-14, 2019 at Lotte Hotel World, Seoul, Korea.A total of 64 participants from 15 countries were brought together, including one Nobel laureate and one keynote speaker. The conference had 1 chair, 1 co-chair, 1 keynote speaker, 3 session chairs, 6 topic speakers, 6 topic commentators, and 6 poster presenters. The roles of co-chair and keynote speaker were added in this conference as opposed to previous conferences.ICNPS-PM was held on Feb 14-16, 2019, at the Lotte Hotel World, Seoul, Korea.Around 15 participants were brought together along with a group of around 30 observers working with the SoRegen technology group. The preparatory meeting had 3 session chairs and 6 speakersFollow-up communications were made with participants from ICUS XXV and ICNPS-PM to obtain feedback, recommendations, and final versions of their papers.PublicationsBook: "The Original World of Creation and the Future of the Earth"Because science and technology are not themselves the fundamental causes of environmental problems but they are only tools, it is necessary to develop solutions addressing humankind's attitude toward nature. As one of the possible sources to develop a clear strategy and vision for protecting the environment based on human attitude, insightful quotes about the environment were collected from speeches of the HJIFUS/USA founders and arranged in a book edited by the SunHak Institute of History and printed by Sung Hwa Publishing Co. in Korea in January 2019. The book was distributed to participants at ICUS XXV.Proceedings of the Twenty-Fourth International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences (ICUS XXIV) and ICUS XXV.For ICUS XXIV and ICUS XXV, HJIFUS/USA carried out all work regarding transcribing, communications with authors, editing, and final design. The designs were sent to HJIFUS-Korea so that they could arrange for printing at a lower cost and to save on distribution costs, as many of the participants were from Korea and Japan. The ICUS XXIV proceedings were published in January 2019 and distributed to participants at ICUS XXV. They were mailed to chairs, speakers, and commentators in ICUS XXIV.The ICUS XXV proceedings were published in July 2019The ICUS XXV proceedings were mailed to conference chairs, speakers, and commentators of ICUS XXV and to chairs and speakers attending the next year's conferences.Proceedings of ICNPS-PMAudio recordings of discussions and some presentations were transcribed. Most of the transcripts and papers received were edited.Africa Water Project:In June 2019, representing HJIFUS/USA, Dr. Douglas Joo and Mr. Gregg Jones visited Sao Tome and Senegal for the purpose of meeting with the local communities and leaders, scoping out the drinking water situation in those communities, and collecting water samples for testing. Dr. Joo and Mr. Jones were joined by representatives of SoRegen technology and representatives of Cheong Su Company, an operational company in charge of the actual building of water purifications systems.Collected water samples were tested in Senegal, Korea, and the USA.In November 2019, as part of an event in Niger related to the HJIFUS founders, Dr. Joo gave a presentation introducing HJIFUS/USA and research on a water purification that African countries could use. He was accompanied by Gregg Jones. The two met with some African leaders to discuss possibilities regarding water purification.Preparations for the First International Conference on Science and God (ICSG I) and the Twenty-Sixth International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences (ICUS XXVI)Research was done to find themes and trending topics for both conferences. For ICSG I, research was done to find scientists, engineers, and other experts on new science so that their theories and products could be used to improve the environment. For ICUS XXVI, research was done to find scientists, engineers, and other experts on technologies based on conventional science as well as environmental education to protect and preserve the environment.Invitations to give presentations and discuss ideas were sent to scientists, engineers, and innovative thinkers by email with follow ups by email or phone.Website development:The first HJIFUS/USA website was reviewed and launched on Nov. 25, 2019. Its purpose was to have a presence online and so that people coming to our conferences may learn more about us. It was later updated to include the schedules of ICUS XXVI and ICSG 1.
