THE DURATION OF STAY IS TYPICALLY BETWEEN 90 AND 120 DAYS, DURING WHICH TIME RESIDENTS RECEIVE PSYCHIATRIC AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES, IN ADDITION TO GROUP, FAMILY, AND INDIVIDUAL THERAPY. THE GOAL IS TO STABILIZE CHILDREN, WHILE DETERMINING THE MOST APPROPRIATE PLACEMENT.
THE TREATMENT FOSTER CARE PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES TEMPORARY, SPECIALIZED CARE TO YOUTH WITH BEHAVIORAL OR SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS. THIS PROGRAM SERVES BOYS AND GIRLS AGES 3 TO 18 IN STRUCTURED TREATMENT FOSTER HOMES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
