Organizations Filed Purposes: Our mission at Steadfast is to provide safe housing in a caring, supervised and home-like environment for unaccompanied homeless youth and for youth transitioning out of foster care. Our purpose is to provide safety and stability for the growing number of youth encountering homelessness in Frederick County MD. Using a holistic approach we address the individual needs of each youth, provide character building activities, mentoring, educational programs and resources as well as connection to resources in our community. By increasing stability in their life we empower the youth to create their future story and reach their greatest potential as healthy, independent adults.

Getting Ahead program: Steadfast was a member of a coalition with several local nonprofit agencies that received a grant to implement and deliver this 8-week group workshop. The grant funding and the associated budget and financial management of the program was done by the Mary Seton Foundation and therefore not included in this filing. However, Steadfast lead the delivery of the program to our target clients.
