AFTER SCHOOL. IN THE COMMUNITY. ON THE PLAYING FIELDS. IDENTITY NOT ONLY KEEPS YOUNG PEOPLE ENGAGED IN THEIR EDUCATION, OLDER YOUTH IN THEIR WORK SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND PARENTS EQUIPPED TO HELP THEM, BUT ALSO DELIVERS VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON LIFESAVING SAFETY NET SUPPORT AND CARING HUMAN CONNECTIONS TO STAVE OFF HUNGER, HOMELESSNESS AND DESPAIR IN THE MOST VULNERABLE YOUTH AND FAMILIES. SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE PANDEMIC, IDENTITY HAS PROVIDED CASE MANAGEMENT AND EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO 7 TIMES MORE CLIENTS THAN IN PREVIOUS YEARS, AND CRITICAL INFORMATION TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 AND TAKE CARE OF ILL FAMILY MEMBERS TO 3000 FAMILIES. WE HELP YOUTH, AND THE FAMILIES WHO LOVE THEM, IMPROVE SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS, ACHIEVE ACADEMIC SUCCESS AND PREPARE FOR WORK. IDENTITY ASSISTS THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS AND DISCONNECTED YOUTH WITH PROGRAMMING BEFORE AND/OR AFTER-SCHOOL IN MORE THAN A DOZEN ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS AND THROUGH THREE HIGH SCHOOL-BASED WELLNESS CENTERS, TWO YOUTH OPPORTUNITY CENTERS AND AT THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY. IDENTITY YOUTH REPORT SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS IN THEIR ABILITY TO RESOLVE CONFLICT, SPEAK UP FOR THEMSELVES, CONNECT TO SCHOOL AND AVOID SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND DELINQUENT BEHAVIOR. IDENTITY YOUTH SHOW IMPROVED ATTENDANCE AND ACADEMIC SUCCESS AND THEIR FAMILIES REPORT IMPROVED COMMUNICATION AND MORE INVOLVEMENT IN THEIR CHILD'S EDUCATION AFTER PARTICIPATING IN OUR PROGRAMS.
