Organizations Filed Purposes:
Youth dance education and training, principally ballet, and community performance. Approximately 100 student dancers and nearly 80 parent volunteers participate.
Olney Ballet Theatre ("OBT") staged and performed the Nutcracker Ballet, its only significant annual event, at Olney Theatre Center for audiences of about 4,000, with special emphasis on attracting youth and families. OBT trained and directed 100 student dancers aged six to 18 and employed 12 guest-professional ballet dancers for a 13 performance run that teaches young dancers discipline and grace.
Continued to train approximately 100 young dancers in all forms of artistic dance, ballet, jazz. tap, hip-hop, modern and more, enhance with yoga and pilates.
