Main Street Middletown MD Inc. is an organization that was formed to help preserve, promote and encourage appropriate development of the historical town of Middletown MD. The organization has held monthly events around historical themes associated with the 250th anniversary of the town culminating with a Heritage Festival and grand opening of the Heritage Gallery and Heritage Park. A Faade Improvement Fund has been established which assisted with its first historic preservation project in the current year. The organization has also hosted quarterly business mixers and promoted the downtown business district in conjunction with all of the organizations other activities.
