The Knights Templar is a Christian-oriented fraternal organization that was founded in the 11th century. They support the Knights Templar Eye Foundation, KT Holy Land Pilgrimage, KT Educational Foundation and donate to various charities, masonic organizations and youth groups.
Hosted a Christmas Observance for members of Jacques Demolay Commandery No 4. Presiding officers of the surrounding Masonic Blue Lodges and local community support organizations along with their family members attended this event. Following dinner, JDC No. 4 presented donations totaling $11,900 to these support organizations who attended the event. The Christmas Observance was conducted by Rev. William Maisch and an organist provided musical accompaniment.
Donation to the Knights Templar Eye Foundation, which provides assistance to those who face loss of sight due to the need for sugical treatment without regard to race, color, creed, age, gender, or national origin provided they are unable to pay or receive adequate assistance from current government agencies or similar sources and to provide funds for research in curing diseases of the eye.
Donation to the Grand Commandery of Maryland to assist with its cost of the annual Hershey Youth trip. This annual event pays for the transportation expenses along with the Hershey PA amusement park admission tickets provided to the masonic youth of MD.
