Organizations Filed Purposes:
Provide a platform to improve and expand heart failure care through collaboration, education, innovation, research and advocacy.
Annual Meeting: meeting of medical professionals working in the field of heart failure to present and discuss new results from clinical trials, basic science advances, and new treatment modalities for heart failure. In 2019, approximately 3,000 persons attended.
Education and Programs: 1) Initiatives aimed at educating cardiologists and the complete healthcare team (nurses, pharmacists, PAs, and other health professionals with a special interest in heart failure). 2) Focused meetings held when particular issues related to heart failure come to the forefront (medical reimbursement, regulatory issues for treatment and/or clinical use, etc.)
