Organizations Filed Purposes:
To promote Taiwanese heritage and culture in the greater Washington DC area through various events and activities, incluidng a Lunar New Years Celebration, Asian Heritage Week, Harvest Moon Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Thanksgiving Banquet, and a print membership directory.
Our Thanksgiving Banquet is to give thanks to our Local Government Leaders and community leaders for their support and partnership in the Washington D.C. area and to bring the TAA-GWC family together to celebrate this ongoing relationship in America.
Other activities and events include some speech events, Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, UN for TAIWAN NY EVENT, TRA 2.0 WORKSHOP, and so on to bring people together and bring awareness to the Taiwanese heritage.
The New Year Celebration is one of the most popular event typically attended by more than 200 members with their relatives and friends to welcome the start of another year.
