ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING - THE ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING, ALSO KNOWN AS PELVIC FLOOR DISORDERS WEEK, ENABLES PHYSICIANS, PAS, NPS, NURSES, PHYSICAL THERAPISTS, STUDENTS, RESEARCHERS, EDUCATORS AND OTHER HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS TO LEARN THE LATEST FROM EXPERTS IN THE FIELD OF FEMALE PELVIC MEDICINE AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY (FPMRS) WHILE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF MULTIPLE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES. REGISTRY - THE PELVIC FLOOR DISORDERS REGISTRY (PFDR), THE AUGS NATIONAL PATIENT REGISTRY, IS A MULTI-CENTERED PROSPECTIVE COHORT STUDY OF PATIENTS UNDERGOING TREATMENT FOR PELVIC ORGAN PROLAPSE (POP) TO EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS, QUALITY OF LIFE AND SAFETY ASSOCIATED WITH BOTH SURGICAL THERAPY (TRANSVAGINAL/TRANSABDOMINAL NATIVE TISSUE REPAIR, TRANSVAGINAL MESH REPAIR AND SACROCOLPOPEXY) AND NON-SURGICAL MANAGEMENT (PESSARY). THE PFDR IS DESIGNED TO COLLECT BOTH PROVIDER AND PATIENT REPORTED OUTCOMES THROUGH BROAD PARTICIPATION FROM SPECIALISTS AND GENERALISTS PERFORMING SURGERY FOR PROLAPSE.AQUIRE - AQUIRE IS THE AUGS UROGYNECOLOGY QUALITY REGISTRY, A NATIONAL UROGYNECOLOGY-FOCUSED REGISTRY OPEN TO ALL PHYSICIANS THAT IS DESIGNED TO MEASURE AND REPORT HEALTHCARE QUALITY AND PATIENT OUTCOMES. AQUIRE HAS BEEN APPROVED BY CMS AS A QUALIFIED CLINICAL DATA REGISTRY TO REPORT DATA THROUGH THE MERIT-BASED INCENTIVE PAYMENT SYSTEM (MIPS) FOR PROVIDERS TO POTENTIALLY INCREASE PHYSICIAN REIMBURSEMENT.STRESS URINARY INCONTINENCE MODULE - AUGS, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE MEDICAL DEVICE EPIDEMIOLOGY NETWORK (MDEPINET) AND THE FDA, DEVELOPED A STRESS URINARY INCONTINENCE (SUI) MODULE AS PART OF AUGS' EXISTING AQUIRE REGISTRY. AUGS RECEIVED A SUB-AWARD GRANT FROM FDA (VIA MDEPINET) TO DEVELOP A MODULE THAT COLLECTS PATIENT REPORTED OUTCOMES ON SURGICAL PROCEDURES FOR SUI AND INCLUDES UDI/DEVICE TRACKING. MDEPINET IS A GLOBAL PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP THAT SEEKS TO ADVANCE THE COLLECTION AND USE OF REAL-WORLD DATA TO IMPROVE PATIENT OUTCOMES. MDEPINET BRINGS TOGETHER STAKEHOLDERS FROM ACROSS THE HEALTH ECOSYSTEM TO DEVELOP AND IMPROVE REAL-WORLD DATA INFRASTRUCTURE AND CARRY OUT STUDIES TO BETTER UNDERSTAND HOW DEVICES PERFORM IN THE REAL-WORLD.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS: THE SOCIETY PROVIDES MULTIPLE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AS FOLLOWS: ONLINE LEARNING - THE SOCIETY'S ONLINE EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM PROVIDES MEMBERS AND NONMEMBERS WITH ACCESS TO VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES INCLUDING SURGICAL VIDEOS, WEBINARS, E-POSTERS, SELF-ASSESSMENT TOOLS, AND ON-DEMAND CONTENT FROM THE ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING. FPMRS QUESTION BANK - THIS ONLINE RESOURCE PREPARES INDIVIDUALS FOR BOARD CERTIFICATION. THE "FPMRS QUESTION BANK" ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS TO TAKE A PRACTICE EXAM AND REVIEW THEIR INDIVIDUAL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS. THIS ONLINE RESOURCE CONTAINS OVER 700 QUESTIONS AND IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON A YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION BASIS. USERS HAVE UNLIMITED ATTEMPTS TO TAKE THE TEST DURING A 12-MONTH SUBSCRIPTION. THE FPMRS QUESTION BANK WAS DISCONTINUED IN 2019. UROGYNECOLOGY FOR THE ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER - THIS IN-PERSON COURSE IS GEARED TOWARDS PAS, NPS, NURSES, AND PHYSICAL THERAPISTS WHO PRACTICE IN THE FIELD OF FEMALE PELVIC MEDICINE AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY. THE COURSE HIGHLIGHTS THE LATEST TREATMENTS OF FEMALE PELVIC FLOOR DISORDERS AND PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR ATTENDEES TO INTERACT WITH FACULTY DURING DIDACTIC AND HANDS-ON SESSIONS.
