THE ALLIANCE HAS STRENGTHENED THE PUBLIC LANDS COMMUNITY FOR NEARLY FORTY YEARS THROUGH ITS NATIONAL PROGRAMS AND ADVOCACY. THE PUBLIC LANDS ALLIANCE WORKS FOR THE DAY WHEN AMERICA'S PUBLIC LANDS ARE UNDERSTOOD AND APPRECIATED, PRESERVED AND CONSERVED AND ENJOYED BY ALL. THE MOST DIRECT WAY TO REALIZE THIS VISION IS TO ENSURE THAT PUBLIC LANDS HAVE STRONG NONPROFIT PARTNERS WITH THE CAPACITY TO GALVANIZE PRIVATE SUPPORT, CATALYZE CHANGE AND TAKE STRATEGIC RISKS.

STRENGTHEN THE PUBLIC LANDS ALLIANCE OFFERS A VARIETY OF TRAINING, CONSULTATION, AND NETWORKING EXPERIENCES THAT ENHANCE THE CAPABILITIES OF NONPROFIT PUBLIC LAND ORGANIZATIONS AND LAND MANAGEMENT AGENCIES TO ACHIEVE SHARED MISSIONS THAT BENEFIT PUBLIC LANDS AND THEIR USERS. THE ALLIANCE DELIVERS ITS PROGRAMS ONLINE AND AT FACE-TO-FACE MEETINGS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. ITS ANNUAL CONVENTION AND TRADE SHOW OFFERS CRITICAL EDUCATION, SHARED LEARNING, AND BEST PRACTICES TO MORE THAN 800 PROFESSIONALS AND VOLUNTEERS FROM THE PUBLIC LANDS COMMUNITY AND INDUSTRY PARTNERS. OTHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE PARTNERSHIP AWARDS PROGRAM, WEBINARS, AND AN ONLINE EDUCATION RESOURCE LIBRARY.
