The Nanticoke Watershed Alliance completed a successful year of outreach and restoration in 2020. Major accomplishments were achieved in the following areas: Monitored 36 sites with 45 volunteers through the Nanticoke Creekwatchers Citizen Water Monitoring Program. Planted over 8 pollinator meadows on 2 poultry farms to improve water quality and habitat. Held (online) over 4 workshops for homeowners on managing their properties in environmentally sensitive ways. Installed 10 residential stormwater BMPs to help improve habitat along the Nanticoke River and Fishing Bays.
